Over PLN 1 billion in funding for hydrogen solutions

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management will soon start accepting applications for the “Hydrogenization of the Economy” program, which supports innovative hydrogen-powered transport units.

The application period will run from June 3, 2024, to September 2, 2024. The program aims to support research and development, as well as the commercialization of innovative solutions and technologies for various types of hydrogen-powered transport units. The program has a budget of PLN 1.1 billion.

For whom?

Entrepreneurs and scientific units conducting research and development activities in Poland can participate in the program. Funding will be available for projects involving new or modernized hydrogen-powered units and for increasing production capacity, such as building a technological line or factory for innovative projects.

Support will be provided in the form of grants or grants combined with loans. The amount of funding will depend on the nature of the project and can cover up to 85% of eligible costs for subsidies. The program aims to foster the development of the hydrogen industry and boost Poland’s economic potential by supporting innovative solutions in the hydrogen-powered transport sector.
