Despite the hostilities, Ukraine is finalizing the construction of a 114 MW wind farm

“Down in southern Ukraine, they’re taking another big step towards the ’30 to 2030′ goal. This cool plan aims to set up a huge amount of clean energy – we’re talking 30 gigawatts worth – from sources like wind and sun by the year 2030. If they can pull this off, half of all the energy made in Ukraine will come from these clean sources.

Maksim Timchenko, the head honcho at DTEK Group, says they’re not stopping at just 19 wind turbines. They’re aiming to finish the whole 500 megawatts project. But, they might need a hand from friends around the world to make it happen.
